Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
• Mix paint and other materials to achieve the desired color and consistency
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
• Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas from paint splatter
• Fill cracks and holes with caulk or putty to ensure a smooth finish
• Use power tools and hand tools as necessary for surface preparation and painting
• Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear while working
• Clean and maintain painting equipment after each use

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Painter in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques and materials
• Familiarity with stucco, plaster, drywall, and frame carpentry
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
• Proficiency in using power tools and other equipment related to painting
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
