The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role requires proficiency in various painting techniques and familiarity with construction environments. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure that all work meets quality standards and adheres to project specifications. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely completion of projects. Perform drywall repairs and fixture installations as required. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; report any issues promptly. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times. Skills Proficiency in masonry techniques is a plus. Experience in commercial painting and construction painting projects. Knowledge of trim carpentry and basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Familiarity with construction sites and the ability to navigate safely within them. Experience using power tools effectively and safely. Understanding of construction estimating practices is beneficial. Ability to perform drywall repairs competently.
