Painter/Laborer Set The Tone Painting Dover, PA 17315 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter/Laborer to join our team. We are a brand new company with just myself & another employee. As I scale I’m looking to hire more experienced professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various painting and labor tasks on construction sites, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to project specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial painting and a strong understanding of construction processes. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Assist in fixture installation and frame carpentry as needed. Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate application of materials. Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Work with stucco and other materials for renovation projects. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site. Skills Proficiency in residential painting techniques and practices. Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs. Understanding of color theory to achieve desired finishes. Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety protocols. Ability to assist in fixture installation and frame carpentry tasks. Competence in reading schematics for project execution. Knowledge of stucco application techniques for renovation work.
