Painter Premiere Painting & Restoration Charleston, SC 29403 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong understanding of color theory and the ability to read blueprints. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all projects meet our standards of excellence. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Read and interpret blueprints to determine the scope of work required Mix colors and match paint to achieve desired results Perform trim carpentry as needed to enhance the finished appearance of painted areas Execute commercial painting projects with precision and care Engage in residential painting tasks, ensuring customer satisfaction with the final product Restore surfaces as necessary, including concrete finishing techniques Collaborate with other team members on remodeling projects and maintenance person tasks Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting and knowledge of various painting techniques Experience in trim carpentry is a plus Familiarity with commercial painting practices is preferred Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment If you are passionate about painting and possess the skills necessary for this role, we encourage you to apply and become part of our dedicated team.
