Cabinet Painter Exceptional Cabinets, LLC 1844 Whiting Way, Lugoff, SC 29078 Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and the ability to work with different materials. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all projects meet our high standards of excellence. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to achieve desired finishes. Mix paints and other materials according to specifications and project requirements. Perform trim carpentry and frame carpentry as needed to support painting projects. Install cabinets and perform metal stud framing when required. Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks related to painting and installation. Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate execution of designs. Lift heavy materials as necessary while maintaining safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role within the construction or renovation industry. Proficiency with power tools and hand tools relevant to painting and carpentry tasks. Knowledge of trim carpentry, frame carpentry, CNC operations, cabinet installation, metal stud framing, caulking, and reading schematics is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job duties. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
