The Painter role will assist the supervisor with selection, preparation and application of paint and other decorative finishes to various surfaces in residence halls throughout campus. This position is necessary in maintaining the Housing residence halls and making sure they are esthetically pleasing.

Primary Duties:

Apply protective and decorative coating to various finishes within Housing residence halls using brush, roller, spray, and other means of application. Utilize prioritized work orders to complete daily tasks following work management procedures. Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in a safe and secure manner.

Ensures that necessary information is completed to close out work orders when work has been completed. Leaves door hangers for all work performed. Assemble necessary tools to complete a job.
