Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team at a chemical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for surface preparation, safety adherence, quality control, fireproofing, and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Surface Preparation:

Remove non-structural components from equipment or buildings Clean, repair, and prime surfaces

Safety:

Adhere to strict health and safety regulations Understand safety regulations and guidelines specific to the work environment Know proper ventilation, containment procedures, and handling hazardous substances

Quality Control:

Ensure the longevity and durability of the coating Define standards for paint quality Use inspection tools and troubleshoot common issues

Fireproofing:

Use industrial painting products that include an intumescent fireproofing layer

Equipment Maintenance:

Maintain all paint-related equipment to ensure smooth operation Perform regular checks and troubleshoot any issues

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an industrial painter Knowledge of industrial painting techniques and materials Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team
