THIS POSITION IS ON OUR SECOND SHIFT THAT RUNS FROM 3
00PM TO 11:30PM.
Job Summary:
The Finishing Painter at Gibson performs hand spraying on guitars. In charge of making sure all paint and lacquer finishing is up to company standards. Keeping paint booths and E-stat equipment clean and investigating any quality issues that may arise.
Essential Functions:
Adhere to finishing standards when painting guitars. Use E-stat spray gun to produce an even coat on all products. Document any modification to the material. (adding EEP) Ensure the paint equipment is cleaned properly. Inspect finishing room for safety violations. 5S area and conduct layered audits. Paint Vault Check List is in use and up to date for compliance. Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Painting (E-stat sprayer) experience is required. Strong attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
Results oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Demands:
