Painter Omni Vision Knoxville 501 E Hill Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37915 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial painting, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying texture, applying paint, applying wallpaper, and ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards. The Painter will also be responsible for maintaining tools and equipment, as well as collaborating with other tradespeople on various renovation projects. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply texture, paint, varnish, or other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Apply glue and wallpaper. Ensure the wallpaper pattern aligns perfectly. Perform masonry work as needed to prepare surfaces for painting. Install fixtures and assist with building renovations as required. Work on commercial painting projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Collaborate with carpenters and concrete finishers on joint projects to achieve desired outcomes. Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to painting tasks. Ensure all work is completed efficiently and meets quality standards. Requirements Proven experience as a Painter with a portfolio of completed projects preferred. Experience with wallpaper application. Familiarity with commercial painting practices. Ability to renovate spaces effectively while maintaining quality workmanship. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety practices on the job site. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to painting tasks. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with painting duties.
