Facilities Services is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter I to join our team. This role involves preparing, repairing, and painting a variety of interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and other structural components. Under general supervision, the Painter I ensures high-quality workmanship while maintaining the appearance and durability of facility structures.

Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and cleaning.
- Repair drywall and plaster as needed.
- Paint walls, buildings, ceilings, and other structural components across campus.
- Ensure the work area is cleaned and restored to its original condition after completing tasks.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED
Experience:
Three years of experience or completion of trade school
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Must be able to pass and test for, and wear, a respirator.
Other Conditions:
Valid Driver’s License
