The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques, including industrial and commercial painting, as well as knowledge of renovation and construction processes. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople on job sites. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed. Execute industrial and commercial painting projects with precision and quality. Assist in drywall installation and repair, ensuring a smooth finish for all surfaces. Collaborate with carpenters and other trades to complete renovation projects effectively. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications. Perform trim carpentry tasks as necessary to enhance the overall aesthetic of completed jobs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Provide maintenance person services as needed, addressing minor repairs or adjustments on-site. Qualifications Proven experience in painting, particularly in industrial and commercial settings. Familiarity with drywall installation and repair techniques is preferred. Knowledge of renovation processes, including carpentry skills, is a plus. Ability to read schematics and follow detailed instructions accurately.
