Master Gas Fitter Confidential Huntsville, AL 35803 • Hybrid work
Position Summary:
We are looking for a licensed Master Gas Fitter to work hands-on in the field while utilizing their license for gas-related permits. This is a hybrid role that blends leadership, accountability, and field expertise—ideal for a highly skilled and licensed professional who enjoys both technical work and helping a company grow.
Responsibilities:
Perform gas line installations for residential standby generators and other residential systems Conduct inspections and ensure all gas piping work is compliant with state and local codes Assist and mentor apprentices and field technicians as needed Coordinate with permitting authorities and inspectors to ensure proper compliance Collaborate with plumbing and generator install teams for seamless service delivery Maintain accurate records of permits, inspections, and jobsite work performed
Requirements:
Valid Alabama Master Gas Fitter License 3+ years of experience working as a gas fitter, with a strong focus on residential systems Experience with gas line installation for generators is a plus Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong understanding of applicable codes and regulations Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Willingness to work in the field and travel to job sites as needed Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
