Job Description:

Hydrostatic Pipe Tester Two (2) years of experience Ship building or other facilities that build large, welded aluminum structures, or, Industrial construction such as commercial building construction (large scale construction projects for hospitals, high rise buildings, hotels, and large commercial office buildings.) Oil and gas construction industry (refinery, chemical plant or large oil rig or processing plant construction. Pass the Hydrostatic Pipe Tester test or equivalent pipe test required. Prior experience in safe and effective use of craft-related tools and equipment required. Ability to perform simple math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and measure using the metric system required. Knowledge of shipyard terminology such as general ship structure and vessel layout required. Able to pass a 7-year background check, no felonies.
