Job Description :
Installing and repairing piping systemsonboard ships and submarines Conduct periodic spot checks forquality assurance on finished products. Read and interpretblueprints. Assemble, fabricate, install, test ship piping systems,and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, accordingto specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, andthreading joints. Work may be on new construction or in shiprepair.
Job Requirements :
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years ofmarine pipefitting experience. Solid understanding of shipbuildingand/or manufacturing processes. Need to be able to work withdifferent piping systems. Must be able to pass 1st Class PipeFitter Written and Physical Assessments. Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills. Must be able to read blueprints. Must beable to lift up to 50 pounds on your own. 10-Panel drug Must be aU.S Citizen or Permanent Resident and provide a birth certificate,passport, permanent resident card or naturalization documentation.
