In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing safe, high-quality gas line installations and service work, primarily in support of whole-home standby generator systems. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and will serve as the gas qualifier for our generator division.

Responsibilities:

Install, test, and inspect residential gas lines and appliances in accordance with local and state codes. Serve as the licensed Master Gas Fitter of record (qualifier) for the company’s generator operations. Ensure all installations meet safety regulations and quality standards. Work closely with electricians, installers, and other team members to coordinate efficient project completion. Troubleshoot and repair gas lines, valves, and regulators as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used. Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions. Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications & Required Experience:

Current Master Gas Fitter license (must be in good standing). Proven experience with residential gas line installation and repair. Strong understanding of state and local plumbing/gas codes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Clear communication and a commitment to safety and quality.
