The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in various settings, including construction sites and HVAC systems. This role requires a strong understanding of codes and standards related to pipeline installation and maintenance, as well as proficiency in welding techniques. Responsibilities Install and assemble piping systems according to specifications and blueprints. Perform welding tasks using Stick welding techniques to ensure secure connections. Rig and support pipes during installation, ensuring proper alignment and plumb. Conduct inspections of installed piping systems to ensure compliance with codes and standards. Troubleshoot and repair existing piping systems as needed. Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations. Qualifications Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in welding techniques, particularly Stick welding. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Strong understanding of codes and standards related to pipeline installation. Ability to use calipers and other measuring tools accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
