Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience in the plumbing field Strong knowledge of:
MECHANICS
- Must have minimum of 6 years of experience Blueprint reading, piping layouts, mechanical code Split Systems, DX Cooling, Boilers, Chillers Hydronic heating & cooling systems Proficient with copper, cast iron, PVC, PEX piping Experience with brazing, soldering, Pro Press tools OSHA 10 is a plus(We can help you obtain it!
) Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site
HELPERS/APPRENTICES
- Must have at least 3 years of experience Tool Identification & Use
- Know common plumbing tools (pipe wrenches, threaders, cutters, Pro Press tools, etc.) and how to use them safely. Material Handling
- Load, unload, and organize materials like copper, PVC, PEX, cast iron, etc. Assisting with Pipe Installation
- Support with measuring, cutting, and assembling pipes under supervision. Supporting Fixture Installation
- Help install sinks, toilets, water heaters, faucets, etc. Pipe Insulation
- Learn how and when to insulate pipes (especially for HVAC and hydronic systems). Sealing & Joining Pipes
- Understand basics of soldering, brazing, gluing, or pressing different types of pipe.
