The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of pipelines, ensuring that they meet industry standards and safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to operate heavy equipment effectively. The Pipelayer will work closely with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain pipelines for water, gas, oil, or other utilities. Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications. Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, and forklifts to assist in pipeline installation. Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed for pipeline supports. Dig trenches and prepare sites for pipeline installation. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any issues. Experience Proven experience in pipelaying or related construction fields is preferred. Familiarity with concrete forming techniques and concrete finishing practices. Ability to read blueprints accurately. Experience operating heavy equipment including front loaders, backhoes, and forklifts. Knowledge of oil and gas pipeline installation is a plus. Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions. A commitment to safety protocols on the job site.
