Must pass a Drug Screen Must pass a Background Check Must be able to Stand, Lift, Stoop and Bend throughout the shift
CONTINUOUSLY. 6-8
months of recent machinery, band saws, automatic welding machines. Measuring with the ability to sort/shift pipe ranging from ½” to 10″. 6-8 months experience in fire sprinkler pipe fabrication Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Non-climate controlled, can get very hot (not air-conditioned). Heavy Lifting
- Very Physical Position Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard.
Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintain organized work supplies. Follow safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe. Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines and company procedures. Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication. Measure, record, and add random pipe lengths accurately. Measure and cut pipe using band saws or torches. Thread and bevel pipe using Landis machines. Inspect and maintain forklift equipment.
