We are looking for a Pipe Layer specializing in water & sewer systems to add to our team. This person will successfully install and repair underground pipelines, including sewer lines, water mains and storm drains. Our company is a Drug Free Workplace. Duties and Responsibilities:

Lay pipes for water, sewer and storm drainage systems Check slopes using lasers or levels to ensure proper alignment and elevation Measure and cut pipes according to blueprints and project specifications Assemble and connect pipe sections, sealing joints according to industry standards Operate construction equipment, such as backhoes, loaders and other machinery, for digging trenches and lifting pipes Follow safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe work environment Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to coordinate project activities Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience in pipe laying, preferably with experience in water and sewer systems Knowledge of pipe laying techniques and materials Strong physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and repetitive tasks Experience in Construction (1 yr) is preferred Experience in operating construction equipment is a plus Excellent teamwork and communication skills A strong work ethic and commitment to safety

Weekend & Overtime Availability Work Location:
