We’re seeking a motivated individual to install and maintain underground piping systems for water, sewer, and storm drainage. Join a team that values safety, quality work, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, align, and secure underground pipes (e.g., water mains, storm drains, sewers). Grade and level trenches using lasers, transit levels, and hand tools. Connect pipes using appropriate methods (gluing, welding, bolting, or sealing). Cut, fit, and install pipe using hand and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications. Ensure trench safety and proper shoring/bracing. Collaborate with equipment operators, laborers, and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently. Perform routine inspections and testing of pipelines for leaks or defects. Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
Requirements:
Three – plus -years of experience as a Pipelayer in Florida. Proven experience as a Pipelayer on a construction site. Ability to read construction plans and operate laser levels. Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and trenching regulations. Will work in wet conditions. Must be a team player, reliable and organized. Must be able to perform physical labor. Must have experience working in a fast pace, demanding environment. Timeliness, and pride in your work product are essential for success in this position. Being able to pass a background check to get a

badge and TWIC card. Able to work in wet conditions and in the water Main Duties and Responsibilities Configure pipe routes. Align pipes in pipeline sections. Dig trenches with trenching tools. Slide pipe into trenches. Tell tractor driver where to move pipe in preparation for welding. Insert spaces in between pipes. Pull out defective or misaligned pipes. Correct alignments with sledgehammers. Inspect places where pipes are fitted together to ensure pipes are spaced out properly and according to specifications. Lay pipe for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains. Grade trenches or culverts. Seal joints. Use glue or welding equipment to ensure pipes are tightly fitted. Ensure pipes are fitted and aligned using grade rods or transit levels. Cover pipes with dirt or other material. Drill holes into pipes for auxiliary lines. Perform continual maintenance on pipes and replace those needing repair. Utilize magnetic or radio indicators. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug Free Workplace.
