Construction Pipe Layer / Installer Blue Total Bobcat Services Orlando, FL 32811 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Pipe Layer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laying pipes for various applications, ensuring proper alignment and grade. This role requires proficiency in operating heavy equipment and performing tasks related to pipe installation, maintenance, and repair. The Pipe Layer will work closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, and loaders to assist in pipe laying activities. Dig trenches for pipe installation, ensuring proper depth and alignment. Utilize pipe lasers to ensure accurate placement and grade of pipes. Form concrete as needed for pipe supports and connections. Perform welding tasks for pipe fittings and repairs when required. Collaborate with team members to maintain safety standards on the job site. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties. Experience Proven experience in pipe laying or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including backhoe operation, loader operation, and front loader truck handling. Skills in plumbing, concrete forming, digging, and welding are highly desirable. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to pipe installation projects is a plus.
