DBE UTILITY SERVICES

is seeking a full-time Certified Fusion Tech for all of Florida. A minimum of 5 years of related experience is required. DBE is an underground utilities company with its main headquarters located in Palm Beach County, FL and satellite office in Jacksonville, FL. We specialize in large scale directional drilling and open cut installation of water, sewer, gas, fiber, and power. Certified Large Diameter Pipe Fusion Tech Responsibilities :

v Using various techniques like butt fusion, socket fusion, and electroweld to join HDPE pipes and fittings. v Setting up, calibrating, and maintaining fusion machines v Assisting customers with selecting the correct components, designing piping systems, and ensuring proper installation techniques. v Inspecting fused joints for defects and ensuring compliance with industry standards, like ASTM standards. v Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines related to working with HDPE and fusion equipment. v Driving to customer locations to perform fusion work, requiring a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record. CDL preferred. v Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during fusion operations, including minor machine repairs. v Using fusion data recording devices to document fusion parameters and maintain accurate records, including KPA reports. v Maintaining certifications as a HDPE fusion technician and attending relevant safety and fusion training courses.
