The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, welding techniques, and the ability to interpret schematics. The Pipefitter will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure that all installations meet safety and quality standards. Duties Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of piping systems. Perform pipe threading and fabrication using various materials. Execute welding tasks using FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) techniques as required. Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise measurements during installations. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions. Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the project duration. Skills Proficient in plumbing techniques and installation practices. Strong welding skills, particularly in FCAW methods. Experience with pipe threading and fabrication processes. Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
