Young Ave, Port Allen, LA 70767 Overview We are seeking a skilled Fitter experienced with misc steel and handrails to join our team in our fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing various components, ensuring precision and quality throughout the process. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and welding techniques, as well as a commitment to maintaining safety standards on the construction site. Responsibilities Assemble and fit various components according to specifications and blueprints. Utilize hand tools effectively to build and install structures. Perform pipe threading and soldering as required for assembly. Conduct basic math calculations to ensure accurate measurements and alignments. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area on the construction site. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly and installation tasks.
