Pipe Layer/Equipment Operator Forefront Enterprises Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 Overview We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of pipelines, ensuring that they are laid accurately and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of construction site operations and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time. Duties Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of pipelines and utility systems. Operate front loader trucks and other heavy machinery to dig trenches for pipeline installation. Ensure that pipelines are plumb and properly aligned during installation. Conduct utility locating to avoid damage to existing underground utilities. Perform concrete finishing tasks as needed for pipeline supports and connections. Maintain a clean and safe construction site, adhering to all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues that arise during installation. Experience Previous experience in oil and gas pipeline installation is preferred. Proficiency in blueprint reading and utility locating techniques. Familiarity with loader operation and other construction machinery. Experience in concrete finishing is a plus. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor as required.
