Job Description:
Pipefitter As a Pipefitter in the maritime industry, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipe systems aboard vessels and offshore platforms. You’ll be working with a dynamic team of professionals, using your knowledge and hands-on experience to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in all piping operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Pipefitter Install, maintain, and repair pipes, valves, and fittings for various systems (water, fuel, HVAC, etc.) aboard vessels. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to install pipe systems accurately. Cut, weld, and fit pipes using a variety of tools, including torch cutting and welding equipment. Perform regular inspections and tests to ensure systems are operating at optimal levels. Collaborate with engineers and other trades to resolve complex piping issues. Perform necessary maintenance and repairs to keep the systems functioning efficiently. Ensure all work complies with maritime safety regulations and industry standards. Document all work completed, including inspections and repairs.
