Pipe Layer (sewer, water, and storm drain) Thornton Construction Co,Inc. Brandon, MS 39047 Overview Thornton Construction Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Pipe Layer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sewer, water, and storm drain installation, with the ability to operate heavy equipment as needed. This is a hands-on position with opportunities for career growth within our company.
Key Responsibilities:
Install sewer, water, and storm drain pipelines according to project specifications. Operate heavy equipment as required for pipe installation and related tasks. Perform general labor duties, including site preparation and cleanup. Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company standards. Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience as a pipe layer in sewer, water, and storm drain installation.
Skills:
Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, or similar machinery.
Work Ethic:
Strong willingness to work hard and contribute to a team environment.
Physical Ability:
Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting and working in various weather conditions.

$18.00 – $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
