Heavy Equipment Technician Job Description Join our busy grading company this summer as a skilled Field Technician. We are seeking several pipe laborers, pipe layers, trackhoe, and bulldozer technicians to assist with site preparation and grading operations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with equipment operating experience to contribute to our growing team. Responsibilities Perform both rough and fine grading on-site. Assist with the installation of pipes by measuring materials and delivering them to pipe layers. Digging and maintaining an organized work environment. Shovel curb and pull string lines (Fine Grade Crew). Essential Skills Experience with blueprint reading. Site development knowledge. Grade and bulldozer operation. Pipe laying skills. Trackhoe and roller operation. Skid steer experience. Proficiency with grade stakes. Skilled labor experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications At least 6 months of prior construction experience or experience working outside on a landscape crew. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 – $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
