Pipe Layer 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Sanford, NC 27331 Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipelayer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing and maintaining pipelines for various utilities, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality. As a Pipelayer, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, working collaboratively with other team members on-site to deliver successful projects. Responsibilities Excavate trenches for pipelines using appropriate tools and machinery. Install various types of piping systems according to project specifications. Utilize pipe lasers and other equipment to ensure proper alignment and grading of pipes. Conduct utility locating to avoid interference with existing services during installation. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of piping systems. Perform concrete finishing as required for pipeline installations. Operate loaders and forklifts safely and efficiently on construction sites. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues that may arise during installation. Experience Proven experience as a Pipelayer or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred. Familiarity with utility locating techniques and equipment is advantageous. Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications related to pipeline installation. Experience in operating construction machinery such as loaders, forklifts, and other relevant equipment is desirable. Skills in welding, plumbing, and concrete finishing are considered a plus.
