Posted June 11, 2025 We are seeking a seasoned Piping Foremen with 10 years of hands-on experience in the construction of commercial HVAC Systems. The position reports to the Project Manager and is located in Charlotte, NC. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate field crews installing mechanical systems and equipment.
Perform pipefitting tasks: measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipe/tubing.
Interpret and work from mechanical drawings and schematics.
Weld carbon steel pipe using MIG, TIG, or stick methods.
Braze copper for refrigerant lines and solder copper for hydronic systems.
Assemble threaded black pipe systems
Generate material takeoffs and orders based on site conditions and plans. Requirements Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical trades, including HVAC and plumbing systems.
Proficient in chilled water, steam, and condensate piping systems.
Valid driver’s license required.
Must pass a drug test and background check.
Willingness to travel and work overtime/weekends as needed.
