Pipe Fitter Job Description We are looking for a leader in the field to work on renovations at NC State University. The fitter will primarily work with copper lines using pro press techniques. Responsibilities Work with copper lines using pro press Handle renovations and updates at NC State University Read and interpret blueprints for accurate installations Perform mechanical repairs and installation of plumbing systems Install and solder copper risers Use hand tools and equipment for plumbing and fitting tasks Essential Skills Experience in plumbing and fitting Proficiency with pro press techniques Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience with copper risers Mechanical repair skills Proficiency with hand tools Installation and piping skills Soldering and brazing experience Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with industrial threading Knowledge of cast iron installations Why Work Here? Dress code and facility conditions are typical for a construction and renovation environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
