The pipelayer is responsible for laying piping systems to carry a variety of different utilities. The pipelayer will help install pipes for septic, water, and storm.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist with installations of underground water lines, sanitary sewer pipe, and storm drainage piping. Position, align, and join pieces of pipe as well as setting drainage structures. Lay pipe for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains. Ensures ground is prepped and graded, and digs trenches with trenching tools. Clean and prepare work area to eliminate potential hazards. Performs general laborer duties on pipe crew. Perform additional duties as required or directed by your immediate supervisor or other manager. Follow all safety and OSHA regulations.

Job Requirements:

2+ years of construction experience. 2+ years of experience laying pipe. Physical ability to perform assigned tasks. Basic knowledge of operating hand and power tools of various types. Knowledge of working with concrete pipes. Must be able to pass drug screening.
