Job Description
Job Description Ability to follow direction and perform all phases of commercial sprinkler work related to new/existing building construction and equipment repair, moves, adds and changes. Ensure proper safety training and code compliance for assignment/contract. Streamline work processes and work cooperatively with Foreman to provide high quality work and service. Other related job duties, as assigned. Demonstrate knowledge of (NFPA-13) National Fire Protection Association Code. Skilled in classifying wet, dry and pre-action systems and troubleshooting. Ability to interpret and read instructions, technical documentation, blueprints, and schematics. Skilled in safe operation of and application of sprinkler tools to include threading machine, roll groover, drills, test pump and pipe wrenches among other necessary tools to perform the job. Install risers, mains, branch lines; layout and prep; install and troubleshooting. Oversee compliance with lock-out/tag-out and safety procedures per company and site requirements.
