The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, the ability to read and interpret schematics, and proficiency in pipe threading and assembly. The Fire Sprinkler Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems according to local codes and regulations. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine system requirements. Perform pipe threading and assembly tasks with precision. Conduct routine inspections and tests on fire sprinkler systems to ensure functionality. Troubleshoot issues with existing systems and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with other tradespeople to coordinate installation efforts. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards. Experience Proven experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations. Experience with welding techniques is a plus. Knowledge of pipeline construction and maintenance practices is beneficial. Ability to plumb systems accurately and efficiently.
