This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work in various environments. The Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment operates smoothly and safely. Responsibilities . Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals. Translate blueprints and layout drain, water and gas lines. Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate. Collaborate with other trades such as HVAC, electrical, and carpentry as needed. Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to repairs. Assist in construction plumbing tasks, including pipe threading and installation. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. Experience Proven experience with a minimum of 5 years in new construction and service work. Familiarity with general construction practices is advantageous. Ability to read and interpret blueprints related to mechanical systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
