The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The Fire Sprinkler Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients’ fire protection systems are functioning properly and in compliance with local regulations. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems in various settings. Fabricate and assemble components using hand tools and welding techniques. Perform inspections on existing systems to ensure compliance with safety standards. Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise installations. Troubleshoot issues with fire sprinkler systems and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with HVAC technicians when necessary to integrate systems effectively. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Skills Proficient in stick welding and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) techniques. Strong ability to fabricate and assemble metal components for fire sprinkler systems. Experience using hand tools for installation and repair tasks. Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment. Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols in all aspects of work.
