Description:
We are looking for experienced and safety-focused Pipe Fitters to support a school construction project in Moncks Corner, SC. This role involves laying and fitting a variety of pipe types, with a strong emphasis on copper piping. Candidates must be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision and follow all safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
Lay out, fit, and install pipe systems according to project specifications.
Work with copper, steel, and PVC piping, ensuring proper alignment and fit.
Cut, thread, weld, and solder pipes using the appropriate tools.
Read and interpret construction blueprints and piping diagrams.
Collaborate with other construction team members to meet project deadlines.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.
Requirements:
Prior pipe fitting experience is preferred (especially with copper piping).
Must have own tools specific to pipe fitting.
Must wear and maintain all required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, etc.).
