05/hr Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers in Sheet Metal, Electrical, Paint Insulation or Pipefitting. Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids. Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. May utilize trainers with technical expertise. Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
Basic Qualifications:
Product Trainer 1 0 years with Bachelors; Apprentice School graduate Thorough knowledge of marine pipefitting skills (Cutting/Fitting of pipe, identification of pipe joint types and reading of drawings). (Pipefitter Trainer) Surface Prep for Coatings, Brush and Roll Techniques (Paint Insultation Trainer) Submarine and Carrier Insulation experience (thermal insulation) (Paint Insulation Trainer) AMPP Certifications are a plus (Paint Insulation Trainer) Marine Electrical Experience (Absence of Voltage, Electrostatic Discharge and Arc Flash) (Electrical Trainer) Marine Electrician General safety and procedures (Electrical Trainer) Thorough knowledge of marine sheet metal skills.
