Our company is currently seeking a Pipe Layer to support projects in the Columbia/Lexington areas. Pipe Layers are expected to follow directions of the foreman and equipment operators, assist with placement of ductile iron, concrete, and PVC pipe, as well as perform other general duties as specified.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Cutting pipes and connecting them to their seal joints with cement, glue, or welding equipment Installing or repairing sanitary sewer structures or stormwater pipe systems Following written instructions and blueprints to coordinate and lay out pipe routes Using tamping machines or hand tools to grade or level trench bases Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers. Operating magnetic or radio indicators to locate existing pipes for repair and replacement purposes You can shape the infrastructure of our roadways in South Carolina today, let’s chat! J.C.
