Pipe Layer GLO Resources LLC Columbia, SC 29201 GLO Resources is currently hiring for Pipe Layers to work in Lexington, SC You will be working for a company that constructs wastewater treatment facilities. Pay will be between $16

• 24/hr. DOE Perdiem may be available if you qualify. Typical workdays are Monday
• Friday 7am
• 3:30pm with weekend and overtime available at times.

Job duties include but are not limited to: Install sanitary and storm water sewer structures and pipe systems. Cut pipes to required length. Assist in aligning pipes during Installation. Align and position pipes to prepare them for Sealing or joining. Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers. Connect pipe pieces and seal joints bye either bolting, cement, or glue. Tap and drill holes into pipes to introduce auxiliary lines or devices. Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools Train others in pipe-laying techniques Other general labor and construction duties as required. Install trench boxes and shoring materials.

Essential Skills and Experience:

1-2 years’ experience in construction 1 year experience with pipe laying techniques Able to operate both simple hand and power tools and pipe lasers Ability to communicate well with supervisors and co-workers Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling Combination of sitting, standing, walking Handling heavy loads Large workload Physically demanding Tight deadlines
