Position Overview:
We are currently hiring an experienced Pipefitter to join our team in the Nashville area. This role supports commercial and industrial mechanical projects, including boiler and chiller installations, hydronic piping systems, and large-scale equipment changeouts. We’re looking for a dependable, safety-minded professional with strong skills in pipe installation and layout, eager to contribute to high-quality construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Pipefitting & Installation:
Assist in the layout, assembly, and installation of piping systems for boilers, chillers, and hydronic systems. Work under the direction of a foreman or lead fitter to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to guide installation.
Equipment Changeouts:
Support the replacement of large mechanical equipment, often involving crane lifts. Follow all safety protocols during lifting operations and equipment handling.
Hydronic Piping Systems:
Install and maintain hydronic piping and ensure systems meet design and performance expectations.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 4 years of pipefitting experience on commercial/industrial mechanical projects. Hands-on work with boilers, chillers, and hydronic piping. Familiarity with crane lift coordination and equipment changeouts.
Skills:
Proficient in pipe layout, measuring, and fitting techniques. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics. Certifications (Preferred): OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.
