Pipe Layer J Industries TN Murfreesboro, TN 37127 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of pipelines, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, as well as the ability to operate heavy equipment safely. Responsibilities Excavate trenches for pipeline installation using various digging techniques and equipment. Lay pipes in accordance with specifications, ensuring proper alignment and grade. Conduct concrete forming for pipeline supports as necessary. Utilize pipe lasers for accurate placement and alignment of pipes. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety regulations. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues to supervisors. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while on the job site. Requirements Proven experience in pipelaying or related construction fields. Familiarity with sewer, water, storm and electrical pipeline standards and practices is a plus. Ability to dig trenches manually as required. Strong attention to detail with the capability to follow technical instructions accurately. Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
