We’re looking for an Equipment Operator who’s just as comfortable behind the controls as they are in a trench running pipe._ This is a hybrid role supporting both excavation and plumbing tasks as needed. _ About the Role You’ll work under the guidance of Matthew Pittser, Excavation Supervisor, on a variety of job sites including new construction slabs, outside utility installation, grease traps, and digging for service install projects. This is not a full-time equipment operating position – when excavation work is light, you’ll assist with general plumbing duties and pipe installation. Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavation equipment for plumbing-related construction jobs
- Dig trenches for utilities and service installations
- Assist plumbing crews with pipe-laying and job site preparation
- Maintain equipment and follow all safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors Requirements Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- CDL preferred but not required Skills & Attributes
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Self-motivated with great attention to detail
