Position Overview:

As the Equipment Operator Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring job sites are prepared in accordance with the Warrior Precast Builder Guideline booklet. This role requires proficiency in equipment operation, site layout, and compliance with safety standards. To be successful, you will need excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Operate a skid loader safely and efficiently for site preparation tasks. Read and interpret basic layout plans to guide site work. Use a tape measure accurately to ensure proper measurements and placements. Utilize a transit level to establish and maintain proper grading. Operate a gas-powered plate compactor to compact stone and ensure stability. Comply with all company safety policies and regulations. Travel as required to meet customer needs, including overnight trips when necessary. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction throughout all projects. Construct a level and stable 35′ x 35′ crane pad at designated locations. Complete other duties as assigned by management to support team goals.

Basic Qualifications:

Strong math skills. Valid driver’s license. Proven ability to operate required equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to manually lift up to 80 lbs. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in site preparation or construction, preferably within the precast concrete industry. Familiarity with basic hand tools and equipment operation, including skid loaders and backhoes. Ability to read basic layout plans and utilize a tape measure accurately. Ability to direct a team, make informed decisions, and handle responsibility effectively. Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and schedules to meet project needs.
