Paid Parental Leave What you bring: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in machine set-up and computers
Minimum 2 years machine operator experience
Must have a good understanding in how equipment operates in order to clear equipment safely.
Understanding of key figures and how to maximize output.
High mechanical aptitude with experience trouble shooting equipment.
The ability to read and understand written instructions and product specifications.
Practical knowledge in a continuous flow automated manufacturing process
Hands-on problem solver
Able to use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometeors, and measuring tapes, etc.
What you will be doing:
Operates, troubleshoots, and maintains all machines including but not limited to sanding, shaping, and cutting.
Visual inspection of raw materials as entering the area and verification of quality leaving the area.
Utilizes all measurements tools to verify all production is in specification. Including but not limited to tape measures, gauge blocks, calipers, and micrometers. Cooperation and supervision of the proper operation of the fleece applying device with all machines and cooperating installations jobs. Physical Work Environment & Conditions
Must be able to stand/walk on concrete floors for 12 or more hours during the course of a day.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced high volume production facility.
Some lifting, bending, stooping, walking up/downstairs, fast-paced walking for some distance.
The ability to lift 60 pounds & 120 pounds with another person. The ability to shovel heavy waste to shoulder height. The ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions for several hours daily while wearing protective + safety equipment required.
