Landscape Laborer Proscape LLC Northport, AL 35473 We are looking for a motivated and dependable Landscape/Hardscape/Outdoor Living Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting in the installation of high-end outdoor environments including patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, and softscape elements. You’ll work closely with the installation crew to bring outdoor living projects to life, ensuring quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the construction and installation of patios, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, pergolas, and other hardscape structures Perform basic landscaping duties such as planting, mulching, edging, sodding, and grading Mix and pour concrete, lay pavers, and compact base materials Use hand tools and power tools such as saws, tampers, compactors, and levels Load and unload materials and equipment Maintain clean and organized job sites Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE Assist with measuring and layout according to plans or instructions Support crew leaders with project setup, problem-solving, and daily tasks
Requirements:
Prior experience in landscaping, hardscaping, or outdoor construction preferred Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in landscape/hardscape construction Team player with strong communication and work ethic Reliable transportation to job sites
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with paver and block installation Knowledge of landscape grading and drainage Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus) Experience operating skid steers, mini-excavators, or similar equipment Ability to read and interpret site plans or blueprints
