Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying caulk as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or airless paint spraying equipment. Read and comprehend job scopes to understand project requirements and specifications. Execute masonry and stucco work as needed for surface preparation or repair. Renovate existing structures by applying appropriate finishes and ensuring aesthetic appeal. Utilize hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently and safely. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert recommendations on color selection and finishes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven experience in construction painting with a portfolio of completed projects. Familiarity with masonry and stucco techniques is preferred. Ability to read schematics and follow detailed instructions accurately. Strong knowledge of caulking methods and materials used in painting applications. Proficient in airless paint spraying techniques for efficient application.
