Job Description

⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Room addition

  • need concrete foundation, block laid and framing ‹ image 1 of 4 › compensation: fixed price
Overview:

I am building a 8×12 room addition which will be a mud room. Permit submitted

  • I am waiting on final ok from city.

Plan in hand, would need someone who has experience with this type of construction. Foundation, framing. I have a contact who can do flooring, siding and roof, window, door later but we could discuss additional work once the framing is done.

Logistics:

1a. Dig foundation

  • I’ll pay for that portion of the work 1b. Work break until city inspected the foundation holes 2a. Pour concrete and lay rebar
  • I’ll pay for that portion of the work 2b. Work break until city inspected the foundation 3a. Lay cinder blocks, frame
  • I’ll pay for that portion of the work 3b. City inspects
  • if any changes needed I would bring you back for additional paid modifications For supplies we can go to Home Depot which is minutes away where I will pay for materials.

I do not have a pickup truck or trailer.

My ask:

1. Let me know what your labor cost would be for 1a, 2a, 3a (build in a 10% buffer as contingency fund in case your underestimate the work effort) 2. In your response, please include a brief summary why I should pick you out of the responses that have been sent in Plan pictures attached. Any questions, please ask. Permit was submitted 5 days ago. I expect that it will take another 10 days back and forth with the city to get the permit completely approved. Plan is stamped by civil engineer, just from experience there tend to be questions from the city with this process.

PS:

The mass-in-cast steps are not in scope.
