The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscaping and construction, with the ability to create durable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces. This role involves working with various materials and equipment to install hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. The Hardscaper will collaborate with clients to bring their visions to life while ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties Install hardscape elements including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and decorative features using various materials such as stone, brick, and concrete. Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently for site preparation and material transport. Utilize hand tools for precise cutting, shaping, and finishing of hardscape materials. Conduct construction estimating to determine material needs and project costs. Perform glass installation for outdoor features as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards. Assist in drywall installation, electrical work, construction painting, and carpentry tasks as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in hardscaping or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and hand tools relevant to construction tasks. Knowledge of construction estimating techniques for accurate project planning. Familiarity with glass installation processes is a plus. Basic skills in drywall installation, electrical work, construction painting, carpentry, and welding are advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow project specifications accurately. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining physical stamina for manual labor.
